Hello World,
I'm Hadil Habashneh, a transdisciplinary designer, engineer, researcher, maker, and educator from Jordan. My work blends physical product design, design research, community co-creation, and systems thinking to imagine futures rooted in care, equity, and local knowledge.
With a background in engineering and a passion for materiality, I've explored everything from bioplastics and digital fabrication to ethnographic fieldwork and playful learning environments. I’ve worked with teaching and research labs at Stanford, UNDP’s Accelerator Lab in Jordan, and a wide range of community-based initiatives to build tools and experiences that spark reflection, agency, and joy.
I’m especially interested in how design can shift narratives: How can we tell stories that honor the invisible? How might everyday objects, rituals, and spaces become sites of transformation? Whether I’m building a library of compostable materials, designing participatory games, or facilitating workshops with youth researchers, I try to center empathy, experimentation, and the nuances of real life.
